SEEING IS BELIEVING.

Genesis  13:14 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:  13:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

Hello, you are welcome once more to this amazing topic. You may be wondering where I'm

driving at because I know as Christians we are used to the definition of Faith according to Heb. 11:1: this time I'm letting you know that you have to see somethings before you can believe them and it is scriptural and God made it so. If look at our introductory scripture you will notice it was God that took Abraham and told him to look and further said as far as your eyes can see. If seeing wasn't believing in this context God would have allowed him be of  course you know God specially took Abraham to the different stages in his life hence we refer to him as father of faith today.

So, what I'm saying in essence is that we must begin to see as believers I don't mean proofs before we believe. If we need proofs before we believe then we will be doubting God. What I mean is getting revelation from God's Word concerning any area that is challenging you right now. One thing is sure if you can see it the way God sees that challenge then you can seize it. If you see someone complaining about a situation and the person thinks it is impossible it means the person is yet to see what God has said concerning that situation because you can't doubt what you can see in God's Word. When I talk about seeing I don't mean just looking at the scriptures or memorizing it. I mean according to what Ephesians  1:18 says: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
So it means that it is more than just looking at scriptures, it talks about the eyes of your understanding, that alone makes the difference. So I ask even when you study pray for your eyes to be opened, so that your case doesn't be like the story of Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch of Acts 8:27 because it is not all the time you may get someone to help explain the scriptures for you all the time.
In conclusion, what I'm trying to say is that whatever is looking like a challenge now (be it spiritual, family, career, academic etc)will not last long especially when you see what God's word says Concerning it and  it will be easier for you to trust God. God could even give you special instructions on how to go about it. I could remember a time I had an academic challenge during my undergraduate days  in my finals then, I had thought I won't graduate. So, I put it to God and I heard Him say to me in clear words that I will graduate that whatever I come out with was in my hands and that settled it because I had peace after hearing from Him. He further gave me some instructions which I had no choice but to obey because I wanted to graduate with my mates. So settling with the Word  and with prayers God gave me that victory then.
Another point worthy of mention is that We could also see through books, when I say books i don't necessarily mean spiritual books but good books too that addresses that particular challenge and trust God too to speak to us through it by opening our eyes to see what the author have seen. My question for you today is can you just trust God? If you can trust some friends or family members to keep to their words and they do most times how much more God. So He is more than able.

Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus  open the eyes of my understanding today and help me trust you more. Amen.
