Hello Sweethearts! Here we go again how have the month of March been so far, I'm sure you will be like where is #LFD post this month? Yes it has finally dropped. It all about attention, yes I didn't mince words because this is not just a word but an action word or we can say a doing word. From our introductory scripture it says children hear the word of your father isn't? Who will a child listen to if there is no father to speak to him just because he is busy about only trying to provide the same children.
Who will a child get understanding from if his or her mother is also busy too trying to work hard assisting the father of the house. All those are very good but not good enough if that same child is neglected without paying attention his or her emotional needs.
She is crying within her but you don't know it. He needs direction not knowing what to do next all you do is buy him the latest video game as a caring dad. All because you want him or her to do well you get a lesson teacher: very good,i Iove that but please still play your role as a parent. The fact that he or she may be doing well academically doesn't mean all is well emotionally.
What Next?
As a parent learn to come close to your wards, talk to them asking questions in a friendly manner what they did or achieved for that day. Now I hear you say, you don't know how busy I am, I come home very late and so on. Here is a way out, spend the weekend by all means with the family and especially the children.
Then, learn to study the Word together as a family and most importantly engage your wards in discussions on some specific Bible Character in the Bible, it will amaze you what they will tell you. All these backing with praying together will keep you and your family in the right track.
My prayer for you and me is that You won't raise a child that put you to shame in Jesus name.
Now Soon to be parents( I mean the youths) Please don't be left out in this discussion. There used to be a time when they said it is the whole community that trains a child. Where did all that go to? Hmm it is well. If you see a child that lack manners correct immediately don't ignore because you are sowing good seeds For your children yet unborn. So, I want you all to understand that we are in this together and God will help us to help our children in Jesus name .
