Hello Dear, you are welcome once more to our discussion. I know you are eager to know what will be dished out this time, the truth is like I always say our topics are usually deeper than it looks but I try touching it in a peripheral way because we all have our differences and perspectives about life. So I thank God who always gives me a common ground to balance things.
So God is telling us today that He is the Alpha (the Beginning) and the Omega (The End ), one may ask what is He trying to let us know here? Well, I will just pick an aspect of it because our God created everything at the beginning that's why He said He is the Alpha because He existed even before the beginning and He is the Omega because He already knows the end of all that He has created: meaning what they will become . The beauty of all is that He created everything and He saw that they were very good(no mistakes at all).
THE BEGINNING FROM THE END.
I want to make you realize something significant that happened in the beginning in Genesis 1 when God started the creation and Genesis 2:2 when He rested.
1)God believes in phases and stages if you will observed at the end of a particular stage when you think it is finished He will begin another phase. He is Omega doesn't put a full stop on anything but rather He begins from where ever He stops. So meaning as His Children who are we to think we have achieved enough? Who are we to think that the fact that you have reached your set goals means you have arrived, Oh dear I'm here to prove you wrong because records are made and are meant to be broken, growth is what can never stop until you stop it. Jesus Christ said it is finished(John 19:30) that was an aspect of His mission but the Apostles and Disciples continued the Work. Who would have thought the Gospel will be the way it is today, because God made men believed that the work can never be finished so they kept on stretching and it kept on expanding.
2)The fact that God rested in Genesis 2:2 led to another phase which is maintence and improvement. We all can achieve set goals if we try but how many of us can actually maintain it before we can even think of surpassing it. If you have achieved a set goal you have to rest and think of how to maintain that pace first and believe me you will be glad you did because ideas will pop on how to even improve and beat that goal. Don't get carried away with the glamour of achievements.
If we may ask, How did God maintain His Creation? Like I always say I will pick only an aspect especially as related to our discussion okay, because He did in several ways. The aspect I am picking is Communication,first He handed over everything to Man but he ensured that He kept on communicating with Him constantly it was one of such occasions that led to Adam giving names to all the animals(another improvement on set goals on creation) God never named the animals when He created them but Adam Did, this further led to God bringing him a help meet(Eve), so it goes on and on.
How does this relate to us?The truth is Please learn to communicate with yourself after a set goal has been achieved. People will always come to you and you will constantly communicate with them especially if what you have done is mind blowing but most persons leave themselves out of the communication and it has a way of backfiring later because you may not realize somethings you failed to do well and how you could even do better. You may even been living in assumption and which is even worse. The truth is seek a quiet place to talk to yourself, ask yourself questions and provide answers to them. Questions like what did i do differently? What will I do differently to improve? When you provide answers to these two Questions then I can say you have started living not just existing.
