Government:Nigerian Removes about 24,000 Ghost workers.

The Nigerian government has removed close to 24,000
workers from its payroll after an audit revealed they did
not exist, the Finance Ministry has said.
The move has enabled a monthly saving of around $11,5m
(£8m).
The audit is part of an anti-corruption campaign by
President Muhammadu Buhari, who took power last year.
Corruption and mismanagement have long been a
challenge to Nigeria’s growth, and the government has
promised to cut costs to face an economic slowdown.
Nigeria is Africa’s biggest economy and the continent’s
top oil producer, and its finances are under strain due to
the recent collapse in oil prices.
The country has also faced rising inflation, a stock market
slump and the slowest pace of economic growth in more
than a decade.
The audit started in December used biometric data and a
bank verification number to identify holders of bank
accounts into which salaries were being paid, Reuters
news agency reports.
This process allowed the identification of some workers
who were receiving a salary that did not correspond to
the names linked to the bank accounts.
It also revealed that some employees were receiving
salaries from multiple sources.
Some 23,846 non-existent workers were removed from the
payroll, an adviser to the finance minister was quoted by
Reuters as saying.
Periodic checks and electronic audit techniques will be
periodically carried out to prevent new frauds, the
ministry said.
Officials have said the savings resulted from the anti-
corruption measures will help the country tackle its crisis
and prevent job cuts.
Well, i hope the Government  will also have plans to create more jobs too for those interested.

Destiny can be delayed but never denied is an old adage often used to encourage persons going through trying times. That was the case while announcing the winner of the award for Best Actor,
Presenter Julianne Moore, who won Best Actress at last
year’s awards, waited a respectable amount of time before announcing DiCaprio’s name.
Born in 1974, Leonardo Willhelm DiCaprio has starred in
over 24 films, including Gangs of New York and The Basketball Diaries, not forgetting the popular Titanic movie in 1997.
To date, DiCaprio has won over 40 awards and has been
nominated six times for an Oscar. This is his first win at the 2016 Oscars.
He received a standing ovation as he picked up his award.
He said making The Revenant was “about man’s relationship to the natural world”.
“Climate change is real – it is happening right now,” he
said. “It is the most urgent threat right now to our entire
species and we need to work now.
“Let us not take this planet for granted. I do not take
tonight for granted.” Congratulations to him once more.

THE RULES OF CHANGE PART 3 (CHANGE IS POSSIBLE).

You are welcome once again to our RULES OF CHANGE SERIES.This week we will be looking at the Possibility of Change.
Change is possible because if you decided not to change that alone is change because if you decided leave water in a bowl without changing it for a long time it will start smelling; that's what happens when people decide not to change. The truth i want you to know is that God has finished making you according to Genesis  1:31" And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." So stop all these slogan that people make these days saying" I know God will do it" as have seen God that said He saw everything that He made and that includes you and I. Our future and plans are that what He made. Your dreams that you are yet to achieve have been made already by God. All God wants you to do is for you to start living that life He has created you to live . He is constantly watching you according to "Isaiah  49:16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me." So if we are aware that He is constantly watching us lets not disappoint Him.
So if you have realized that you need a change because you feel you are not living up to expectation concerning God's purpose for your life, I want you to know that it is not too late to start making that change you desire in God's will because all has been done already it is left you to take your share and start living a purposeful life. Don't let your age discourage you after all Abraham made a decision along the will of God when he was 75 years old. Don't let past sins hamper you from deciding; that's the reason our Lord Jesus died for you. All you need to do just confess your sins according to "Romans  10:9-10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  
10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." So just confess and forsake them and start all over again. Don't let past failures hinder you. You failed doesn't make you a failure but you have just realize a another to take in doing that particular thing that is of your interest. Well, i want you to also know that you are not too young to start changing your life pattern because our Lord Jesus Christ discovered His purpose at the age of 12, Joseph at the age of 17.
So please do all you can to seek your change based on the Word of God. Always remember you have to be a Life Finder( in Jesus) to be a Life Giver( to your world). So just start it is possible because all have been made already. God bless you.

Sunday Oliseh resigns as Super Eagles Coach

Sunday Oliseh has explained vividly the major reasons
for quitting the Nigeria senior national team, the Super
Eagles eight months after being the Super Eagles coach
Oliseh who had been in a running battle with his employers over what he termed uncondusive working
conditions told Completesportsnigeria.com that he was
irked by the underground moves by the Nigerian Football
Federation to sack him and the constant violations of his
contractual agreement.
Oliseh was irked by the fact that the President Of the
Nigerian Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick tried to hire
Frenchman Herve Renard soon after the Home Eagles
crashed out of the group stages of the African Nations
Champions.

Ayo Makun aka AY, has
reacted to the rumour making the rounds that his 7-year
old marriage to his wife, Mabel has hit the rocks.
AY's reaction was coming a day after news went viral on

interior decorator has crashed, owing to alleged domestic
violence.
He took to his Instagram page to dispel the rumour, AY

I rejected an offer from a top African Nation- Oliseh

Head coach of the SUPER Eagles, Sunday Oliseh has claimed that
he was approached by an unnamed top African nation last
year but turned down their offer.
Oliseh, 41, revealed at one of the sessions of the Social
Media Week on Thursday that the offer from the African
country came in just three months after he took charge
of Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
“I must state that within three monthsof coaching the Super Eagles, I got an offer from a top African nation to become the coach of their national team,but I turned it down,” Oliseh
said via Skype from his base in Belgium.
I hope the NFF will appreciate his patriotism and be patient with him because NFF and Nigerian are after positive results.

One Member of an arm robbery gang dies in gun battle with the police in Port Harcourt.

The streets of New GRA was in pandemonium when onemember of a robbery gang was shot dead, Wednesday night, during an exchange of fire between the gang and police in New GRA part of Port
Harcourt, Rivers State.
A statement from the state Police Public Relations
Officer, DSP Ahmad Muhammad, said the robbers were
fleeing after raiding a new generation bank on Obagi
Road, GRA, when police went after them.
Muhammad said during interrogation, “before the robber
gave up the ghost, he gave his name as Jude Ihediachi of
Ugwu Chuku, Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta
State.
While adding that the robbers carted away undisclosed
sum at the new generation bank, DSP Muhammad said
they also arrested two heavily-armed robbers.
He said two locally-made revolver pistols and two rounds
of .9mm live ammunition were among items recovered
from them.

Some  innocent tourists at Etosha National Park in Namibia were attacked by group of Rhinos when doing such with their jeep.
In a video shot by Alexandra Poier, the rhino felt threatened by the presence of the vehicle.
The wild animal charged straight into the group of tourists
trapped inside the white jeep.
Though the tourists were not injured, they felt visibly
shaken after the attack.
Luckily they managed to speed off. This is the worst range attack, but that will not be the end because plans are set to really find out the main reason for the attack. Thank God at least they are alive to tell and watch the story via the video.

Kano State command has arrested 13 potential
recruits planning to join the ISIS in Libya.
The suspects were arrested at Karfi village in Kura while
coming into Kano with face ECOWAS passports.
Kano State Police Commissioner, Muhammad Katsina said
the suspects were going to join Boko Haram-like fighters in
Libya when they were intercepted. Kudos to the Nigeria Police Force.

Mother Of Quintuplets in Joy as UCH cancels her hospital Bills.

Who says children aren't a blessing? The life of an Islamic cleric and wife was transformed by the blessing of a Quintuplets( Five babies) at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan. The management of the hospital had decided to take the bills that ought to have been paid by the parents of quintuplets delivered in the hospital recently.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the hospital, Mr. Deji
Bobade, made this known to the public.
The couple, Yusuf Rasaq Ewenla (an Islamic cleric) and Sakirat had been blessed with three boys and two girls, all of who are still in the hospital’s care. The couple had two
children before the miraculous gifts. Bobade said that all
funds paid so far since February 15 when the woman was
delivered of the babies at the hospital had been refunded as at
February 22.

Women in Kaduna are rushing to sell their gold because of Naira Crash.

It has come to the notice of residents in Kaduna state that their women are reportedly storming the gold
sellers section of the Kaduna Central Market as the price of
gold has risen to N10, 500 as against the N8,000 old
price due to the continuous fall of the Naira against other
international currencies.
Daily Trust, had it that many of the women in the state
have over the last one week have started going to the gold sellers
section of the state main market to sell off their gold so
they can make some huge profits.
One of the gold merchants in the market. Rabiu Ismaila
Funtuwa, said the old price for selling was N8,200 while
buying was N9,000. He attributed the rush to sell gold to
the increase in the price of selling to N10,500 and buying
N13,500.
“We have received so many women in the market in
the past few days due to increase in the price for selling. I just hope they make good use of the money. If they are going to help themselves by buying houses or plots of land, it will go a long way in easing their problems and that of their families,”he said.
Well as we have seen the Naira Crash seems to favour others irrespective of the fact that it is affecting our economy adversely and we hope things will turn out for the better soon.

THE RULES OF CHANGE SERIES. PART 2.

Welcome to the part two of the RULES OF CHANGE series.
We all always tell ourselves that we deserve more than we are often getting hence; we want to get more from this life through various means. Some persons want increase in salary, want to get more certificates by studying more or even going for higher degrees, we want more cars, more houses and we even want more from everyone associating themselves with us which includes famlies, spouses, friends and bosses only to mention a few.
Now, I want  you to ask yourself these questions; what do you really have to offer? Are people feeling your absence in your presence? In the part 1 of this series. Of ourdiscussion I said you should stop complaining about everyone including yourself. So in essence my focus in this series is for you to LOOK INWARDS. What do i mean? Dearest you are unique. I have carefully studied mobile phones and how they operate and Their trends for years and i have found that no matter how similar they may be there is at least a distinctive feature that makes it unique from others. If they don't do that they will be held responsible for copyright violation (that's by the way) though they may have similar prices. Now my point is this if makers of electronic gadgets could be so careful in making unique product, what about God our creator( Gen. 1:31). Please stop wishing you could sing  like that artiste you admire most, stop wishing you could preach like that preacher you admire most or speaker like your very good friend. Don't get me wrong i am not against you appreciating good things in people but avoid imitating them because the best you can be is a copy never original. God's blessings in Gen. 1:28 is for all flesh so why are you subtracting yourself. Stop reading about people and start reading about you.You have studied people enough. Study your life pattern , get to know steps you have ever taken to achieve those things you have currently and also things you think you ought to do differently. All these spending time reading about celebrities who have made it wouldn't do you much good unlike spending such time exploring you.
I would like to mention without any apology irrespective of our religious differences that your foundation for studying about yourself should be on the scriptures(The Holy Bible) and discovering what God has said about you, so you can really appreciate you (Jer. 1:5).
