WHY YOU SNORE AND HOW TO STOP IT.

You may be among the 45% of normal adults who snore at
least occasionally or you likely know someone who does. He
(or she) may be the brunt of jokes at family gatherings
("Uncle Joe snores so loudly he rattles the windows!"), but
snoring is serious business.
For one, a snoring spouse often keeps the other person
from a good night's sleep , which can eventually lead to
separate bedrooms. "Snoring can create real problems in a
marriage," says Daniel P. Slaughter, MD, an otolaryngologist
and snoring expert at Capital Otolaryngology in Austin,
Texas.
Not only is snoring a nuisance, but 75% of people who
snore have obstructive sleep apnea (when breathing is
disrupted during sleep for short periods), which increases
the risk of developing heart disease , Slaughter says.
Use caution before you self-treat with over-the-counter
sprays and pills until you've checked with your doctor, says
Sudhansu Chokroverty, MD, FRCP, FACP, program director
for Clinical Neurophysiology and Sleep Medicine at JFK
Medical Center in Edison, N.J. "Many stop-snoring aids are
marketed without scientific studies to support their
claims," says Chokroverty, who is also a neuroscience
professor at Seton Hall University's School of Health and
Medical Sciences.
Instead, try these natural solutions and lifestyle changes,
which may help you stop snoring.

Final Change of Name.

There was a meeting held during the early hours of today as regards the numerous suggestions that have been coming in from our numerous viewers and followers. Especially  because most persons have narrowed our motives and objectives to just relationship and dating  because of the  name LOVE FINDERS  DORMTORIO with this the board of trustees headed by Mr. Kingsley Oseren-Whisky who is also the CEO and founder by the grace of God  have decided to change it to  LIFE FINDERS DORMTORIO . Our goal and motto is still the same; with this we are sure there won't be much questions as for what we stand for any more.We are sorry for any inconviencies this might have cost. Thanks for your understanding.

2015 Election: Northern Leaders Express Concerns Over Buhari’s Health

INDICATIONS have emerged that prominent Northern leaders
and elders who had initially declared support for the
candidacy of General Muhammadu Buhari in the February
elections have started reconsidering their position,
following alarms that the general might be suffering a
serious health challenge.
Online channels had last week indicated that Buhari
collapsed during the presidential campaign rally of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) in Calabar, Cross River State.
Though the party had denied the report, it was learnt that
the development had immediately prompted meetings
among top hierarchy of the Northern political establishment
to review the Buhari situation.
Sources in the polity had told Sunday Tribune that the
North is becoming wary of a possible repeat of the
situation it found itself following the death of President
Umaru Yar’Adua in office in May 2010, some three years
into his tenure, following a debilitating sickness.
The illness had surfaced during the 2007 presidential
campaign, leading to rumours of Yar’Adua’s death, but he
bounced back on the campaign train and won the election.
“The North is beginning to rethink the promised support
for Buhari in view of reports that he is suffering from a
certain ailment which is believed to be wearing him down.
There are also reports that the elders are pushing to cut a
deal with Jonathan to complete his tenure in 2019 but
extract a promise that power would be returned to the
North via a younger and energetic Northerner,” a source
said.

18 Qualities A lady look out for in a Man.

The Alpha Female is a strong, majestic female.
She can often be intimidating to those around
her and isn’t afraid to ask for what she wants.
She’s killing it in her career and has a solid
group of friends to rely on.

There’s nothing quite as brilliant as a woman
with confidence and ambition. She isn’t scared to
put people in their place should they do her
dirty, nor is she willing to put up with anyone
else. She simply doesn’t have the time.
A strong Alpha Woman needs a man who’s her
equal, her partner, her greatest supporter. By
definition, you’d think that she should want an
Alpha Male, but he can provide only passion, not
steadiness. She also doesn’t get along with Beta
Males because they’re too weak to keep her or
pique her interest.
So, who’s right for the mighty Alpha Female?
What kind of man can keep her grounded while
still challenging her to grow and be the best she
can?
May I introduce Type Z: a man who’s equal
parts solid and charismatic. He’s her rock, her
foundation. He’s not intimidated by her
successes nor would he allow her to walk all
over him. He’s true to himself and true to her.
An Alpha Woman knows what she needs to have
a sturdy partnership with a man who’ll be her
ally, her confidant and her best friend.
These are 18 qualities every Alpha Female
should look for in a boyfriend:
1. He’s someone who can tease you and also be
teased.
He’d never be malicious or say something to
hurt your feelings, but he can give a joke just as
well as you can.
You know each other well enough to know when
you’ve crossed the line, but your shared love of
sarcasm and your knowledge of each other’s
weak spots make teasing fun — never
threatening.
2. He challenges you.
He’s as strong as you are, but more subdued.
He’ll push you to be the best you can be and
challenge every decision you make — but you’ll
love him for it.
Life with him is always exciting and never
ceases to surprise you.
3. He doesn’t get jealous.
He’s confident enough to know that the mild
flirtations you have at a cocktail party and your
unyielding friendship with your work husband
are never a threat to your relationship.
He knows you’re his and never feels the need to
question you because your relationship was built
on a foundation of trust.
4. He isn’t waiting on you, he has his own plans.
He has his own life and respects that you have
yours. He’s never going to give you a hard time
about wanting to hit the club with your girls.
Instead, he encourages you to spend time with
them whenever you want to because he knows
whom you’re coming home to.
5. He doesn’t air your dirty laundry.
He has your full trust, and you can tell each
other anything. You’re not afraid your
embarrassing stories are going to come back to
you when you meet his family or when you meet
his friends for drinks.
What’s said between the two of you stays
between the two of you. Well, except for your
BFF; she knows everything from what he’s got
going on downstairs to his latest promotion at
work.
6. He knows how to deal with your bad moods.
He’s a source of comfort for you. You feel at
ease with him. When you’re angry, he somehow
knows how to deal with you with more grace
than anyone else.
Depending on how you’re feeling, angsty and
emotional or overwhelmed and exhausted, he
lets you have your space and knows when to
hold you in his arms.
7. When he apologizes, he really means it.
If he’s done something wrong, he’ll always be
man enough to admit it and tell you he’s sorry.
He’s not arrogant or pigheaded — he won’t do
something wrong and turn the tables on you,
and he won’t hurt your feelings and make you
feel stupid for being upset.
He’s a man, not a boy — and a man always
knows when he needs to apologize.
8. He’s moving at the same speed you are.
Whether in his current career or his lofty life
goals, he always seems to be moving at the same
speed you are. He knows what he wants and
respects what you want. He’s never pushy or
demoralizing — just steadily moving from one
goal to the next with a very bright future in
sight.
9. He doesn’t belittle you, but he doesn’t put you
on pedestal either.
He’s slow and steady, but never a doormat. He
doesn’t idolize you but doesn’t make you feel
small. He treats you like the fierce woman you
are. He also likes to spoil you, but would never
give you everything you want.
He’ll always keep you guessing. He’s your
partner, not your provider. He’s there because
he wants you, not because he needs you.
10. He is someone who teaches, but never
lectures.
The best partnerships are the ones in which both
people can learn from each other. He’s a well of
knowledge and loves to provide you with new
information and insights on things he’s
passionate about.
You learn from him in many ways, but you
never feel like he’s pushing you or judging you.
You both teach other lessons that make you
better people and better citizens of the world.
11. He makes you laugh.
If you can make a woman laugh, you can
make her do anything. -Marilyn Monroe
If he doesn’t make you laugh, you’ll soon grow
tired of him. Laughter is one of the most
important qualities in a partner. Your shared
love of sarcasm and his sharp wit complement
each other perfectly.
12. He’ll call you out when you need to be called
out.
He’ll never fail to tell you how it is. He’s not
scared to hurt your feelings, and he doesn’t
tiptoe around you, either. If you’re acting like a
raging like an irresponsible girl or are completely talking out of sense , you can bet  he’ll call you out
on it.
He doesn’t let you get away with it
not because he doesn’t care about you, but
because he doesn’t want to be jerked around by
those Alpha Female ways.
13. He wants to be the wind beneath your wings.
He’s a stoic man: strong, independent and sure
of himself. He prefers to let you lead, but he’s
always there to fully support you. He has no
problem being the background; he’s there to be
your strongest supporter and your steadfast
foundation. He loves that you’re popular because
you’re a person he’s very proud of.
14. He isn’t the life of the party, but is always
there if you need to be carried home.
He lets you be the social butterfly you naturally
are. He doesn’t mind your vibrancy or doesn’t
feel intimidated by your fiery, dynamic
personality; instead, he embraces it. He’s also a
protector.
He’ll pour you another drink, but take it away
when you’ve had too much. He always takes
care of you.
15. His opinions aren’t irrational, they’re backed
up.
He reads a whole lot of books and stays
informed on current events so he can have well-
rounded opinions with factual bases. Being
educated and sound in his understanding of the
world around him is very important to him.
16. He knows when to drop it and when to
address it.
He’ll stand his ground when he knows he is
right. Though he’ll argue with you, he’s not
unwilling to concede if it means ending a fight.
You’re strong-willed, and he knows when a
difference in opinion or a questionable action is
worth discussing or whether it’s better left
alone.
17. He has dreams as big as yours.
He’s as career-focused as you are. You both
genuinely care about each other’s endeavors. He
doesn’t sit back and watch you achieve your
dreams because he has passions and goals of his
own. You two are a true power couple.
18. He’s a great listener, but also expects to be
heard.
He knows when to talk and he knows when to
keep his mouth shut. He quietly and patiently
listens to everything you have to say, but he
expects you to do the same for him.

MAKING YOUR TIME COUNT.

We have often heard that there is time for everything. We are usually happy because it's friday and we are used to the normal TGIF stuff. Have you ever wondered how it would have been like if the week were to continue without an end...Hmmm i guess you're like it will be cool because of the huge profit you made but consider this also that if you didn't take a break to continue you would never have a better thought of improving your job or work. Now considering those who made losses i can only imagine because it will be so bad been a continuous losser. You may want to say that you could as well take stock even if the week were to continue without an end but you must understand that if there were no such break we could hardly take a break.Little wonder the only time most people get to rest is when they are ill...Yes....i'm sure you caught that.
But what i'm saying in essence is that you should make your weekend count by assessing how your week had been critically.
Have a blessed weekend and a blessed week ahead.

FG meeting with ASUP ends in deadlock.

The National Executive Council of the Academic
Staff Union of Polytechnics has resolved to continue
its nine months old strike pending the outcome of its
meeting with the Senate Committee on Education on
July 1.
The President of the union, Mr. Chibuzor Asumogha,
made the statement in an interview with the News
Agency of Nigeria at the end of ASUPs 77th
National Executive Council meeting in Lagos.
He said a meeting of the committee and some
education stakeholders scheduled for June 24 did not
hold because no government official honoured the
invitation.
“That meeting was supposed to be held, resolution
reached and agreement signed.
“It was against the backdrop that we fixed the NEC
meeting so that if we have the resolutions, we will
come here and suspend the strike. Incidentally, none
of the government official came for the meeting and
because of that, the meeting did not hold,” he said.
The official said the committee deferred the meeting
to July 1.
Asumogha said the union resolved to continue the
strike until the parties would be able to arrive at a
mutual understanding.
“This is the position of the NEC; we are meeting
again next Tuesday.
“We have been compromising since 2013. We have
continued to agree to suspend the strike but at each
point, government always breached the agreement,” he
said.
He appealed to the parents and students to continue to
be patient and support the union to achieve its goals.
Asumogha said, “The thing we are saying is that
government should be committed. When is it going to
offset the arrears of the salary scale CONTISS
15 it is owing since 2009?’’
ASUP embarked on an indefinite strike in October,
2013 to press home its demand for improvement in the
condition of service and infrastructure in government-
owned polytechnics, monotechnics and colleges of
technology.

I'm not Weak says Mr President.

President Goodluck Jonathan has reiterated his
determination to bring back the more than 200
Chibok school girls saying that his silence in the past
was to avoid compromising investigations on the
abductions.
In a 514 word opinion piece article published in
Friday’s edition of the Washington Post ,
President Jonathan regretted that his silence on the
issue has been misconstrued by critics as a sign of
weakness as he confessed that being a father, he is
touched by the feelings of the parents of the abducted
girls.
In the article titled “Nothing is more important
than bringing home Nigeria’s missing
girls” the president said that the terrorism in
Nigeria is not unique and that it was in that respect
that Nigeria this month, alongside, Benin, Cameroon,
Chad, Niger, Britain and the United States
established an External Intelligence Response Unit to
share security information on such threats in West
Africa.
He also stated that his silence on the administration’s
efforts to secure the release of the kidnapped Chibok
girls did not amount to inaction or weakness as being
perceived by partisan critics.
He added that he would in September propose to the
United Nations to establish an international force to
tackle the activities of such terrorists anywhere they
are found.
Below is the article written by President Goodluck
Jonathan:
“I have had to remain quiet about
the continuing efforts by Nigeria’s
military, police and investigators to
find the girls kidnapped in April
from the town of Chibok by the
terrorist group Boko Haram.
“I am deeply concerned, however,
that my silence as we work to
accomplish the task at hand is
being misused by partisan critics
to suggest inaction or even
weakness.
“My silence has been necessary to
avoid compromising the details of
our investigation. But let me state
this unequivocally: My government
and our security and intelligence
services have spared no
resources, have not stopped and
will not stop until the girls are
returned home and the thugs who
took them are brought to justice.
“On my orders, our forces have
aggressively sought these killers in
the forests of northern Borno state,
where they are based. They are
fully committed to defending the
integrity of their country.
“My heart aches for the missing
children and their families. I am a
parent myself, and I know how
awfully this must hurt. Nothing is
more important to me than finding
and rescuing our girls.
“Since 2010, thousands of people
have been killed, injured, abducted
or forced by Boko Haram, which
seeks to overwhelm the country
and impose its ideology on all
Nigerians. My government is
determined to make that
impossible. We will not succumb
to the will of terrorists.
“The abduction of our children
cannot be seen as an isolated
event. Terrorism knows no
borders. This month, Nigeria,
Benin, Cameroon, Chad, Niger,
Britain and the United States
established an External
Intelligence Response Unit to
share security information on such
threats in West Africa.
I propose that we build on this
step to establish an enduring,
worldwide commitment to
destroying terrorism and those
who finance or give safe haven to
the terrorists.
“In September, I will urge the U.N.
General Assembly to establish a
U.N.-coordinated system for
sharing intelligence and, if
necessary, special forces and law
enforcement to confront terrorism
wherever it occurs.
“In Nigeria, there are political,
religious and ethnic cleavages to
overcome if we are to defeat Boko
Haram. We need greater
understanding and outreach
between Muslims and Christians.
We also know that, as it seeks to
recruit the gullible, Boko Haram
exploits the economic disparities
that remain a problem in our
country.
We are addressing these
challenges through such steps as
bringing stakeholders together and
creating a safe schools initiative, a
victims’ support fund and a
presidential economic recovery
program for northeastern Nigeria.
We are also committed to ridding
our country of corruption and
safeguarding human and civil
rights and the rule of law.
“Something positive can come out
of the situation in Nigeria: most
important, the return of the Chibok
girls, but also new international
cooperation to deny havens to
terrorists and destroy their
organizations wherever they are —
whether in the forests of Nigeria,
on the streets of New York or
sanctuaries in Iraq or Pakistan.
Those who value humanity ,
civilization and the innocence of
children can do no less.”

82 Students bagged First Class and 127 Students bagged Third Class at Covenant University at 2013/2014 Convocation.

Eighty two students of the Covenant University, Ota,
Ogun, on Friday bagged first class degrees at its
2013/12014 convocation.
The Chancellor of the University, David Oyedepo,
disclosed this at the 9th convocation and the
conferment of honorary doctorate degrees and
presentation of prizes to deserving students and
eminent citizens.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that 1,429
students comprising 1,334 undergraduates and 95 post
graduates received various degrees during the
convocation.
In addition to the 82 students that bagged first class
honours, 594 bagged second class upper division
honours, 531 bagged second class lower division
honours while 127 bagged third class honours.
Mr. Oyedepo said that the institution in its 12 years
of existence had maintained a culture of excellence in
education and this had produced significant results.
He said the institution had received recognitions
nationally and internationally.
He said that for two years running, first class
graduates of the institution emerged tops in the
Presidential Special Scholarship Scheme for
Innovation and Development (PRESSID) in Nigeria
(2013 and 2014).
“Our graduates are recognised all over the world
while most of them have gained postgraduate
admissions to world-class universities where they
stamped their indelible footprints in the academia and
the world,” Mr. Oyedepo said.
He urged the Federal Government to partner with the
nation’s universities to provide solution to the security
challenges in the country.
He said that the only way the Nigerian universities
could be relevant in solving societal problems was to
continue to carry out researches that would resolve
political and cultural challenges.
Chance Ayo, the Vice Chancellor of the institution,
said that the university was committed to producing
quality graduates for accelerated national
development.

Carlos Queiroz likely to Coach Super Eagles

Carlos Queiroz is no more a stranger in Coaching on
a world stage, having stood by Alex Ferguson at
Manchester United for many seasons before going on
to become Portugese coach for couple of years.
The recent showing at the World Cup with his latest
team Iran, has attracted the football governing body
in Nigeria football federation, NFF, as they plan for
the future.
According to hints from Nigeria camp at the World
Cup, NFF big wigs were said to be very impressed
by the quality of Queiroz coaching credentials and
they had showed interest in the Portuguese coach.
Speaking the mind of the football house, was one of
the board member, Sulaiman Kwande revealed that
they were really impressed with the manner he had
structured a team that does not boast of any world
class player.
The man who is also a member of the House of
Representatives expressed disgust with the way the
Super Eagles have played at the World Cup so far,
declaring that despite the victory over Bosnia, he’s
not impressed with their performance.
“Yes, we beat Bosnia and we are the African
Champions, and they have lifted the hope of Nigerians
so high in the past two years and only for them to
come and put us under serious pressure. You could
see that there was something wrong with the team.
“ Our first two games were not like World Cup
games. I am not saying we must win but look at the
way Ghana played, they were down against a big side
like Germany and they came up. Look at Iran for
God sake, they took Argentina to the last minute, I
mean what does that say?
“You have to see your player s with that kind of
commitment. See the way your players were falling
down in their match against Bosnia. I did not
understand what was going on, I was sitting down and
I had to go to the bathroom about ten times. I mean
there must be some kind of seriousness and pride
playing for your country. I do not know what is wrong
with the players, but I think it‘s time they know that
a lot is on their shoulders.
“Nigeria is going through difficult times believe it or
not ,and I can tell you that this is the one time that
Nigerians are united because of football. At least let
them make this period good period for us. Kwande
said.

Female Suicide Bomber in Lagos.

Fresh reports indicate that the Wednesday car
explosion in Apapa, Lagos was a car bombing not a
gasoline tanker explosion as earlier claimed by Lagos
State officials.
It was also learnt that explosion was carried out by
by a female suicide bomber who aimed at igniting
several gasoline depots in the area.
The explosion occurred on Creek Road near the
Burma Road junction.
A security source revealed to Sahara Reporters that
the explosion could have triggered a massive inferno
and inflicted a horrifying scale of casualties as well
as damage to properties in the Apapa area, which is
both a residential area as well as the hub of economic
activities, including shipping, manufacturing, and
storage of petrochemical products.
Our source said the suicide
bomber apparently sought to ignite
a series of gas distribution plants
and gasoline depots owned by
Folawiyo Energy some 150 meters
away from the site of the
explosion.
Some four persons were killed by
the explosion, among them the
female suicide bomber who drove
a Mercedes Benz car that caused
the explosion.Eyewitnesses said
the head of the female driver lay
on the ground next to the
Mercedes Benz used in the
bombing.
The Public Relations Officer of the
Lagos State Emergency
Management Agency (LASEMA),
Mr. Kehinde Adebayo, had told
reporters that the explosion was
from a gasoline tanker. On their
part, officials of the National
Emergency Management Agency
(NEMA) told SaharaReporters that
there was a major fire outbreak on
Commercial Road in Apapa on
Tuesday morning. One official said
the fire raged between 4 a.m. and
8 a.m. before it was contained by
firefighters, adding that one federal
firefighter was injured as he fought
the fire.
The Federal emergency officials
said they were denied entry to the
scene of the car bomb and were
excluded by Lagos officials from
participating in the rescue and
recovery process, in an apparent
move to hush up the news of the
bombing.
Even though LASEMA claimed that
the explosion was a gas cylinder
explosion at a facility owned by
Folawiyo Energy Limited (FEL), the
management of the company
issued a statement dissociating
itself from the claim. A statement
signed by the company’s media
consultant, Muyiwa Adekeye, said
the explosion did not happen on its
premises.
An account by Vanguard
newspaper that first pointed to
evidence of a car bombing
suggested that Boko Haram
militants might have targeted the
farm tank with highly inflammable
material packed in a Mercedes
Benz car in order to avoid
detection and cause grave
damage.
Although the car exploded beside
a loaded gasoline tanker, the
tanker did not catch fire.
The apparent car bomb will be the
first in Lagos since the Boko
Haram insurgency entered its
most violent stage in 2009.
